Get contracts in writing

Payment by credit card: Credit cards offer consumers additional protection in the event of a problem, because usually, you can have your credit card issuer to "shoot" the charge and investigate any problem within 60 days receive your statement, even if you have bridesmaid dresses already paid the charge. In some cases, you can extend longer "dispute" period. Unfortunately, checks or cash offer no such protection.

Get contracts in writing: Remember that all written contracts must include specific dates, products, prices, brands, and signed by all parties involved. Cancellation policies should also be included in contracts. This includes all reimbursement policies and the return of deposits. If these are not included in the contract, insist that wholesale dress was added before signing. New York, state law allows companies to set any refund or cancellation they want. Do not assume that if a contract is canceled, you will receive prom dresses  a 100% refund. Make sure you are aware of the refund or cancellation policies before signing a contract and that the conditions are completely written into the contract in writing. Also, try to keep deposits as small as possible as they often are not refundable. Smaller deposits may mean less money wasted if there is a change of plans.
